CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 96-033
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE TERMINATION
OF CITY LEASE NO. 75-010 AND AMENDMENT NO.1 TO CITY
LEASE NO. 67-038, COMBINING THE LEASES OF THE BREEZE
INN MOTEL AND RESTAURANT INTO ONE LEASE DOCUMENT
WHEREAS, Juris Mindenbergs holds city leases No. 75-010 and No. 67-038 for Lot 8 and
Lots 3 and 4, Block 1, Marina Subdivision, respectively; and
WHEREAS, for building permit, operations and administration purposes it would be
advantageous to the lessee and the city to replat all three lots as a single parcel and to combine the
leases; and
WHEREAS, in October 1995, the City Council consented to the replat and combining of
the leases subject to meeting the appraisal cycle adjustment; and
WHEREAS, the lessee has agreed to the termination of Lease No. 75-010 and the
amendment of Lease No. 67-038 to include the combined lease parcel and to a new lease appraisal
cycle;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The termination of Lease No. 75-010 is hereby authorized.
Section 2. Amendment No.1 to Lease No. 67-038 is hereby authorized.
Section 3. The document entitled Lease Termination Lease 75-010 and Lease Amendment
No.1 Lease 67-038, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby
approved.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect thirty days after passage and posting as required
by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 11 th
day of March, 1996.
