RESOLUTION NO. 96-074
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE LEGAL SERVICES
BUDGET BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS AMONG SUBJECT
MATTERS WITHIN THE ADOPTED FY 1996 BUDGET
WHEREAS, certain legal subject matters within the FY 1996 legal budget require additional
funds to cover expenses through the end of the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, funds are available within the legal services budget to cover these expenses;
however, City Council approval is needed to move the funds from one subject matter to another;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The FY 1996 Legal Services Budget is hereby amended by transferring the sum
of$5,000 from Legal Subject Matter No. 1001, General Fund-General Government, to Legal Subject
Matter No.1 023, Delinquent Property Assessments.
Section 2. The FY 1996 Legal Services Budget is further amended by transferring the sum
of $5,000 from Account No. 401-4500-5370, Harbor SMI C General Insurance Expense, to Account
No. 401-4370-5170-4102, Harbor General Legal Subject Matter.
Section 3. The attached revised legal services budgets are incorporated herein by reference.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 10th
day of June, 1996.
