RESOLUTION NO. 96-080
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING AN OPEN PURCHASE
ORDER TO SEWARD BUILDING SUPPLY FOR PORTABLE
TOILETS FOR USE IN PARKS AND CAMPGROUNDS
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department requires an annual open purchase order with
Seward Building Supply, dba Resurrection Rentals, for rent and maintenance of portable toilets used in
the City's parks and campgrounds during the summer tourist season; and
WHEREAS, purchase orders over $10,000 require approval by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the FY 1997 budget contains funds to cover this expenditure;
NOW, TIlEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY..9F
SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue an open purchase order to Seward
Building Supply, dba Resurrection Rentals, in an amount not to exceed $19,000 for rent and maintenance
of portable toilets for the City's parks and campgrounds during Fiscal Year 1997.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect July I, 1996.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 24th day of
June, 1996.
