RESOLUTION NO. 96-081
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, INCREASING THE CONTRACT AMOUNT
FOR PHASE II, SEWARD HOSPITAL TRANSITION, WITH ALASKA
HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, on January 22, 1996, the City Council approved Resolution No. 96-008, authorizing
a contract with Alaska Health Care Management Associates for Phase II of the hospital transfer transition
project; and
WHEREAS, the original contract amount was for an amount not to exceed $10,325; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested that the contractor provide a special final report documenting
the process of establishing a new health care system in Seward, and writing the report has caused the
contract to exceed the billable hours allowed under the original contract by $63.81;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The contract between the City and Alaska Health Care Management Associates for
Phase 11 of the hospital transfer transition project is hereby amended by increasing the total contract in the
amount of$63.81 for a total amended contract amount not to exceed $10,388.81.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 24th day of
June, 1996.
