RESOLUTION 99-087
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING INLET FISH PRODUCERS, INCORPORATED
LAND LEASE, LEASE NUMBER RE-94-087, AMENDMENT NUMBER 3,
EXTENDING THE LEASE TERM FOR ONE YEAR WITH ONE OPTION
TO EXTEND ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, on June 27, 1994, the City entered into a lease agreement with Inlet Fish
Producers, Incorporated for a parcel land described as Lot 4, Block 3, Fourth of July Creek
Subdivision, Seward Marine Industrial Center; and
WHEREAS, this lease expires on June 30, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Inlet Fish producers Incorporated, desires to amend the lease agreement by
extending the lease term to June 30, 2000 with one option to extend one additional year; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Marine Industrial Center upland area is underused; and
WHEREAS, there are no other proposals with a higher and better use for this property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Amendment Number 3 to the Inlet Fish Producers, Incorporated, lease of Lot 4,
Block 3, Fourth of July Creek Subdivision, Seward Marine Industrial Center, Lease RE-94-087 is
hereby approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute Amendment Number 3
to Lease Number RE 94-087.
Section 3. A copy of the amendment is attached and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 28 day
of June, 1999.
