CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 96-098
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE X-FLOAT REPLACEMENT
BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the X-Float Replacement Project has been completed and all costs have now
been identified; and
WHEREAS, the original project budget did not contain funding for the installation of a
water system which must be included as part of the total replacement cost of X-Float; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Harbor Major Maintenance and Replacement Fund
to cover the cost of the water system and other small cost overruns;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $9,212.22 is hereby appropriated from the FY 1996 Harbor Fund
Major Maintenance and Replacement Fund account number 402-0000-3071-0278 and the sum of
$1,344.21 is appropriated from the FY 1997 Harbor Fund Major Maintenance and Replacement
Fund account number 402-0000-3071-0278.
Section 2. The total sum of $10,556.43, as identified in Section 1 above, is hereby
appropriated to the X-Float Replacement Capital Project Number 278-0000-3071-0000.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 12th
day of August, 1996.
