CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 96-105
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FY 1997 STATE SHARED
REVENUE MONIES TO LOCAL HEALTH CARE FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Alaska Revenue Sharing program provides operating funds to qualified
municipalities and boroughs each fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the program comprises several main components including hospitals and health
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to transfer the hospital and health facilities funds received
through this program to the appropriate local facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Revenue sharing monies for the health facilities within the City of Seward based
upon the revenue sharing allocation from State Revenue Sharing Fund, Account No. 200-XXXX,
are appropriated as follows:

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to transfer state revenue
sharing monies to Seward General Hospital in the amount of$39,388, to Providence Seward Medical
Center in the amount of $39,388, to Wesley Rehabilitation and Care Center in the amount of
$40,304, and to Seward Life Action Council in the amount of$14,045.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 26th
day of August, 1996.
