CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION
FOR A LOAN FROM THE ALASKA CLEAN WATER FUND TO
PLAN, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT SEWERS TO SERVE DAIRY HILL
WHEREAS, the city of Seward seeks to obtain the necessary financial assistance
to construct a sewer system to serve the Dairy Hill residential area located within the
corporate boundaries of Seward, Alaskai and
WHEREAS, the state of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation is able
to offer funding through the Alaska Clean Water Fundi and
WHEREAS, the city wishes to apply for a loan from the Alaska Clean Water Fundi
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply to the State
Department of Environmental Conservation for a loan for planning, design and
construction of the Dairy Hill Sewer Project.
Section 2. An additional resolution will be issued to authorize acceptance of the
loan offer from the Alaska Clean Water Fund.
Section 3. Acceptance of the loan will be contingent upon acceptance of a Dairy
Hill Sewer Improvement Assessment District.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
9th day of March, 1992.
