CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-055
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
CAMPGROUND RESTROOM REPAIRS
WHEREAS, the three public restrooms located in Waterfront Park and in Forest
Acres Park are in dire need of roof replacement; and
WHEREAS, the leaking has caused corrosion to the restroon partitions; and
WHEREAS, vandalism has contributed to the poor condition of the restrooms; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has collected sufficient
campground revenues in excess of those budgeted to make the needed repairs to the
restrooms;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Parks and Recreation Department Fy 1992 budget is hereby
AMENDED by increasing the Camping Fees Revenue Account No. 101-4470-0120 by
$25,000.00 and increasing the Building Account No. 101-1410-5920 by $25,000.00.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to proceed a request for proposals to
make the necessary repairs to the park restrooms.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
27th day of April, 1992.
