CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF LOTS 3-4,
BLOCK 12, CLIFF ADDITION, FROM SHIRLEY Y. NEELY
WHEREAS, Shirley Y. Neely has offered to donate Lots 3 and 4, Block 12, Cliff
Addition, to the city of Seward for purposes of enhancing the Lagoon Park; and
WHEREAS, this property, located along the west shore of the lagoon, is too steep
for residential or commercial development; and
WHEREAS, the property would be an asset to the Lagoon Park for shore line
protection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Warranty Deed
accepting the donation of Lots 3 and 4, Block 12, Cliff Addition, from Shirley Y. Neely.
A copy of the Warranty Deed is attached and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. It is in the public interest to waive appraisal of the subject property
prior to its acquisition.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect thirty (30) days following passage and
posting as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
11th day of May, 1992.
