CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-069
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING THE lAND AND WATER
CONSERVATION FUND GRANT
WHEREAS, the city of Seward has been awarded a Land and Water Conservation
Fund Grant in the amount of $90,888.00; and
WHEREAS, this grant will be used to make needed improvements to the
Waterfront Park; and
WHEREAS, this grant must be accepted by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, once plans for the improvements have been finalized, the administra-
tion will come back to the Council for a requested budget amendment appropriating the
funds into the Parks and Recreation Department Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Land and Water Conservation Fund grant in the amount of $90,888
is hereby ACCEPTED, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute whatever
documents are necessary to facilitate the timely transfer of these funds from the federal
government to the city of Seward.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
11th day of May, 1992.
