RESOLUTION 99-095
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AMENDING THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE
CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, Patrick Reilly, has been employed by the City of Seward Council as the City
Clerk since August 27, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the city clerk does not participate in standard employee step increases as
outlined in the Seward City Code, and any increase in pay must be by an amendment to the
employment agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to increase Reilly's salary by the equivalent of a step
increase, which is 2. S percent, and make this amendment to his contract effective July 1, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Paragraph 2 of the employment agreement dated August 27, 1997, between
Patrick Reilly and the City of Seward is amended to read as follows:
Reilly shall be paid at the rate of $S 1 ,480 per year. The City Council
agrees to review Reilly's salary annually prior to the adoption of the
City's fiscal budget.
Section 2. The effective date of this amendment shall be July 1, 1999.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 12 day
of July, 1999.
