RESOLUTION 99-097
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROVE A PURCHASE ORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,500 TO
RESURRECTION RENTAL FOR PORT -A-POTTY RENTALS
WHEREAS, every year, portable toilets are needed in the city parks, campgrounds and
play fields to accommodate the public; and
WHEREAS, an exemption from the competitive procurement procedures is allowed
under Section 6.10.120(A)(5) ofthe City Code; and
WHEREAS, a total budget for port-a-potties this six month fiscal year is $21,500.00;
and
WHEREAS, and Council action is required to authorize any purchase amount exceeding
$10,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THl
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve a purchase order for the
sum of$21,500.00 to Resurrection Rental.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska this 12
day ofJuly, 1999.
