CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING SALES TAX
CONTRIBUTIONS TO SEWARD GENERAL HOSPITAL
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council enacted Ordinance No. 507 on March 8,1982,
adopting a one percent sales tax; and .
WHEREAS, the city budgeted $400,000 in sales tax contributions to the hospital
for Fiscal Year 1992; and
WHEREAS, the hospital's one-third share of actual sales tax collections for Fiscal
Year 1992 totalled $424,960.92; and
WHEREAS, the city wishes to appropriate the hospital's full share of sales tax
revenues for hospital operations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Twenty-Four Thousand, Nine Hundred Sixty and 92/100ths
Dollars ($24,960.92) is hereby appropriated from the Sales Tax Revenue Account No. 101--
4120-0100 to the Operating Transfers to Seward General Hospital Account No. 101-3070-
0301, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer this sum to Seward General
Hospital.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
13th day of July, 1992.
