CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO
THE LAND FIELD SERVICES CONTRACT FOR ACQUISITION
OF EASEMENTS FOR TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT PHASE lB
WHEREAS, Land Field Services provided easement acquisition services for Phase
lA of the Transmission Line Project; and
WHEREAS, the city was pleased with the work provided by the contractor; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted a proposal to the city for the acquisition
of easements for Phase IB of the project for a total cost of $9,240.00; and
WHEREAS, the city has determined that this is a reasonable price for the services
to be provided; and
WHEREAS, the provision of professional services is specifically exempted from
standard city bid procedures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a change order for
acquisition of Phase 18 Transmission Line easements in the amount of $9,240.00 to the
Land Field Services contract, raising the total contract amount to $136,568.50.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
27th day of July, 1992.
