RESOLUTION NO. 92-134

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A
PICK-UP TRUCK FOR THE HARBOR DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, in accordance with Code-required bid procedures, the city advertised
for bids to furnish a pick-up truck for the Harbor Deparbnent; and
and
WHEREAS, only two bids were received in response to the city's advertisement;
WHEREAS, both bids were found to be responsive and the bidders were found
to be responsible; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the city administration that the Council
award the contract for purchase to the low bidder, Truck Center Corporation of Seattle,
Washington; and
WHEREAS, funds for the purchase of the vehicle are available in the FY 1993
Harbor Fund Budget;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order to
Truck Center Corporation of Seattle, Washington, for the purchase of a 1993 GMC 3/4 ton
pick-up truck in the amount of $15,157.00, F.O.B. Anchorage, Alaska.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
10th day of August, 1992.
