CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-147
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING ADDITIONAL GRANT MONIES
FOR THE SYETP AND APPROPRIATING THE FUNDS
WHEREAS, the city has been awarded additional funding for the Summer Youth
Employment and Training Programj and
WHEREAS, this program provides summer employment and job training for six
economically disadvantaged youth aged 14 to 17j and
WHEREAS, the increase in grant funds will allow several of the participants to
continue their jobs through the end of Septemberj and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $8,588.35 in additional SYETP grant funds is hereby
accepted, and the Parks and Recreation Department grant revenue fund is increased
accordingly.
Section 2. The grant revenues noted above are hereby allocated to the following
line item accounts within the Parks and Recreation Department budget:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
