CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-156
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING STATE LIBRARY
GRANTS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Alaska State Library provides grants to qualified municipalities
each year; and
WHEREAS, these grants provide funding for the purchase of library materials,
computer data base building and help support library service to special groups within our
community; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to accept these grant funds and set the grant
budgets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city of Seward hereby accepts the Public Library Assistance Grant
for FY 1993 in the amount of $8,615 and appropriates these funds as follows:
