CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-177
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH INTEGRITY SURVEYS TO SURVEY AND
PLATA SUBDIVISION FOR FOURTH OF JULY CREEK AREA LANDS
WHEREAS, substantial survey and subdivision work is required within the Fourth
of July Creek area in order to dedicated Nash Road and other public rights of way;
identify and locate utility, drainage and access easements; subdivide city lands to identify
lease lots; and provide an as-built survey of the are for state permits; and
WHEREAS, Integrity Surveys has done substantial previous elevation control and
other survey work within the Fourth of July Creek area; and
WHEREAS, Integrity Surveys is a well qualified professional surveying firm that
has performed other work within the community and in cooperation with the city; and
WHEREAS, Seward City Code ~ 6.10.120 exempts the purchase of professional
services from the competitive procurement process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a professional
services agreement with Integrity Surveys to provide professional surveying services in
the subdivision of city lands within the Fourth of July Creek area and to provide as built
location platting of Nash Road and Fourth of July Creek location, all for a negotiated fee
not to exceed $38,000.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
26th day of October, 1992.
