CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-191
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF AN ELEVATOR IN CITY HALL
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council authorized the City Manager by Resolution
No. 92-180 to sign an agreement with the Alaska Deparbnent of Transportation and
Public Facilities to transfer $215,000.00 to the city for construction of a new elevator in
City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the city has signed the TORA and is expecting transfer of the funds;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council must appropriate the funds to a project fund account
in order for the funds to be spent for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city of Seward hereby accepts $215,000.00 from the Alaska
Deparbnent of Transportation and Public Facilities for the purposes of designing and
construction of an elevator in City Hall.
Section 2. The sum of $215,000.00 is hereby appropriated from State Project
Revenue Fund No. 204-4680-0200 to Special Project City Hall Elevator Account No. 204-
204O-XXXX.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
14th day of December, 1992.
