RESOLUTION NO. 93-030
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING RECOMMENDATIONS MADE
BY THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR PARKING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, The City Council appointed an Ad Hoc Harbor Parking Committee
to review and recommend specific parking management solutions to the small boat
harborj and
WHEREAS, the committee met weekly from January 29th to March 1st to accept
public input, review and discuss options and make recommendationsj and
WHEREAS, the committee has submitted what it feels to be reasonable and well
thought out solutions to resolving the overcrowded parking conditions in the small boat
harbor areaj
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Small Boat Harbor Parking Management Recommendations,
attached and incorporated herein by reference, submitted by the Ad Hoc Small Boat
Harbor Parking Committee, is hereby ADOPTED.
Section 2. The city administration is authorized to proceed with implementation
of the recommendations included in the attached document.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
22nd day of March, 1993.
