RESOLUTION NO. 93-056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO PROVIDE
PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS THROUGH THE END OF FY 1993
WHEREAS, funding for Small Boat Harbor parking enforcement officers for the
month of June 1993 was not included in the FY 1993 budget; and
WHEREAS, the cost of providing three officers to enforce parking regulations in
the boat harbor will be offset by the revenues generated through the issuance of parking
citations; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to provide for parking enforcement to assure
optimal utilization of the limited parking spaces in the Small Boat Harbor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Fiscal Year 1993 general fund budget is hereby amended by
increasing the Police Fines and Bails Revenue Account No. 101-4510 in the amount of
$7,920.12.
Section 2. The Fiscal Year 1993 general fund budget is further amended by
increasing the Police Department Personal Services Account No. 101-1210-XXXX in the
amount of $7,920.12.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
10th day of May, 1993.
