CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE CAMPGROUND BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Seward Comprehensive Plan suggests that excess campground
revenues be appropriated to provide campground improvements; and
WHEREAS, campground revenues have exceeded budgeted amounts over the past
two fiscal years, and it is anticipated that Fiscal Year 1993 revenues will be $33,000 over
budget; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parks and Recreation Department to use these
excess revenues to accomplish deferred maintenance and other projects; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to make the city's campgrounds safe and
attractive for the community's visitors and residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Parks and Recreation Department Campground Fees Revenue
Account No. 101-4470-0120 is hereby increased in the amount of $33,000.
Section 2. The Parks and Recreation Department Campground Maintenance and
Equipment Account No. 101-1410-XXXX is hereby increased in the amount of $33,000.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
10th day of May, 1993.
