RESOLUTION NO. 93-072
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO
THE OGDEN BEEMAN CONTRACT TO ASSIST IN THE
IMPLEMENTATION PLANNING FOR THE PROPOSED
B STREET DOCK
WHEREAS, Ogden Beeman and Associates is under contract with the City to
provide planning and economic studies for the proposed B Street Dock; and
WHEREAS, R & M Consultants is under contract to complete a 30% design of the
B Street Dock; and
WHEREAS, Ogden Beeman & Associates will assist in planning and development
alternatives and criteria for design of the dock and uplands;
WHEREAS, funding is available for this project from state grant monies awarded
for design of the B Street Dock;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to approve a change order to increase
the amount of the contract with Ogden Beeman & Associates for an amount not to
exceed $25,600 for a total contract price of $70,000.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
24th day of May, 1993.
