CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-099
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD A
CONTRACT TO JAFFA CONSTRUCTION FOR ABOVE GROUND
FUEL TANK INST ALLA nON
WHEREAS, a request for proposals for the installation of above ground fuel tanks
was properly advertised; and
WHEREAS, Jaffa Construction submitted the lowest of the two bids received; and
WHEREAS, funds for this project are available in Special Project Fund No. 284-
2840;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract to Jaffa
Construction for an amount not to Exceed $53,725.00 for above ground fuel tank
installation.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
28th day of June, 1993.
