CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-106
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING ALASKA STATE LIBRARY
GRANTS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Alaska State Library provides grants to qualified municipalities
each year; and
WHEREAS, these grants provide funding for the purchase of library materials and
equipment as well as support library service to special groups within the community; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to accept these grant funds and set the grant
budgets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city of Seward hereby accepts the Public Library Assistance Grant
for FY 1994 in the amount of $8,033 and appropriates these funds as follows:

Section 2. The city of Seward hereby accepts the Institutional Services Grant for
Spring Creek Correctional Center in the amount of $6,000 and appropriates these funds

RESOLUTION NO. 93-106
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
26th day of July, 1993.
