CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-125
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
AFOGNAK LOGGING TO PROVIDE WINTER STREET SAND
WHEREAS, a request for bids to provide 1200 cubic yards of winter street sand
was properly advertised; and
WHEREAS, two firms responded to the request for bids; and
WHEREAS, Afognak Logging submitted the low bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract to Afognak
Logging to provide 1200 cubic yards of winter street sand for an amount not to exceed
$12,000.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
13th day of September, 1993.
