Sponsored by: Tones CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 93-129 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE SPECIAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety has agreed to enter into a special services contract with the city of Seward to provide full dispatch and clerical services to the Department and to permit continued access to and utilization of city law enforcement facilities; and WHEREAS, the state has agreed to pay the city the sum of $48,500 to provide these services during Fiscal Year 1994; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: Section 1. The Contract for Special Services between the city of Seward and the Alaska Department of Public Safety, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by reference, is APPROVED. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 13th day of September, 1993. RECE'VEO AUG 30 1993 OFFIce OF THE CITY CLE~K ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY CONTRACT FOR SPECIAL SERVICES July 1, 1993, to June 30, 1994 GENERAL PROVISIONS The Parties. The parties to this contract are the Alaska Department of Public Safety (the "Department"), and the City of Seward (the "City"). Sole Aareement. The City and the Department undertake this contract under the terms set forth below. This contract is the sole agreement between the parties relating to special services, and there are no other agreements, express or implied. Effective Date/Termination/Amendments. This contract is effective July 1, 1993, and continues in force until June 30, 1994, except that it may be terminated by either party upon sixty (60) days written notification to the other. This agreement may be amended by written agreement of the parties. 1. The Department will: a. oav the Citv for services orovided in accordance with, and under the terms of, this contract. Payments will be made quarterly in the amount of $ 12.125.00 , for a total of $ 48.500.00. 2. The City will: a. satisfaction operations. orovide and oerform the services soecified in this contract to the of the Department, in support of Department personnel and SPECIFIC PROVISIONS 3.
