CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-140
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE CITY COUNCIL BUDGET
BY APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR COUNCIL ATIENDANCE AT
THE ALASKA MUNICIPAL LEAGUE'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, as part of the budget-trimming process, the Fiscal Year 1994 Mayor
and Council budget did not contain funds for Council participation in the Alaska
Municipal League's annual local government conference; and
WHEREAS, this conference provides an opportunity for local government elected
and appointed officials to receive training and to share and receive ideas regarding city
and borough operations from their peers from other Alaskan municipalities; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to provide such training and networking to
both newly elected officials and incumbents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Mayor and Council Budget is hereby amended by appropriating
the sum of $6,447 from the General Fund Fund Balance to the following accounts:

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
