RESOLUTION NO. 93-153
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE METER READING CONTRACT
WHEREAS, on October 9,1992, the city entered into an agreement with Seward
Aluminum Fabrication and Welding for the reading of electrical and water meters; and
WHEREAS, this agreement is due to expire on October 31,1993; and
WHEREAS, both parties to the agreement wish to extend it for one additional
year, leaving all other terms and conditions of the agreement as is;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Amendment No.1 to the Seward Aluminum Fabricating and Welding
agreement for meter reading, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by
reference, is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
amendment on behalf of the city.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
25th day of October, 1993.

AMENDMENT NO.1
AMENDMENT NO.1, to the Agreement between the City of Seward and Seward
Aluminum Fabrication and Welding, dated October 9,1992, follows:
WHEREAS, the CITY OF SEWARD with offices at Seward, Alaska, hereinafter
called "Seward," and Seward Aluminum Fabrication and Welding, an Alaskan company
with offices in Seward, Alaska, hereinafter called "Contractor", entered into an
AGREEMENT for the reading of electrical and water meters within the City of Seward
electrical service area on October 9, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the continuation of the existing AGREEMENT is desirous to both
Seward and the Contractor;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual exchange of the promises of
the parties, the parties agree to amend the AGREEMENT as follows:
The only change in the agreement shall be to paragraph 11. Amend the sentence
to read: "The Contract under this agreement shall commence on November 1, 1992, and
shall run until October 31, 1994."
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, all other terms and conditions of the
AGREEMENT dated October 9,1992, remain in force and effect.
