RESOLUTION NO. 93-168
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A PURCHASE ORDER
TO SEWARD BUILDING SUPPLY FOR PORTABLE LATRINE
RENTAL AND MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1993, the city issued a purchase order not to exceed $10,000
to Seward Building Supply for portable latrine rental and maintenance to provide
restroom facilities for city campgrounds and recreational activities; and
WHEREAS, during the 1993 camping season, camper nights greatly exceeded
expectations; and
WHEREAS, this increase in camper activity resulted in increased maintenance
costs to provide needed restroom facilities for visitors to the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Purchase Order No. 16009, issued to Seward Building Supply on July
1,1993, is hereby amended by increasing the amount of the purchase order by $4,300 for
a total amount not to exceed $14,300.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
22nd day of November, 1993.
