CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-178
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A FIREWORKS PERMIT
TO THE SEWARD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce has requested a permit to discharge
fireworks at a beach front location on New Year's Eve; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with City Code ~ 10.10.040, the City Council must
approve the discharge of fireworks;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Seward Chamber of Commerce is authorized to discharge
fireworks on December 31st.
Section 2. The Chamber of Commerce shall coordinate with Fire Chief John Gage
prior to the discharge of any fireworks.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
13th day of December, 1993.
