CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE CAMPGROUND BUDGET
WHEREAS, campground attendance and revenues have more than doubled in the
last three years; and
WHEREAS, this increase in attendance has resulted in increased maintenance and
personneVstaffing costs; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department wishes to provide domed trash
receptacle lids to prevent birds and winds from scattering trash, thus reducing the cost
of maintenance of the campgrounds during the camping season; and
WHEREAS, the department also wishes to repair and paint several campground
dumpsters to improve the appearance of the camping area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Fiscal Year 1994 Parks and Recreation Department's Campground
Budget is hereby amended by increasing the listed line items as follows:
