RESOLUTION NO. 94-020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ESTABLISHING CAPITAL PROJECT
FUNDS AND BUDGETS FOR FY 1994 STATE CAPITAL
MATCHING GRANT PROJECTS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution No. 93-173, which accepted
grant funds from the State of Alaska, Capital Matching Grant Projects Programi and
WHEREAS, the City has received twenty percent of the State grant funds and is
now prepared to begin the projectsi and
WHEREAS, budgets have been prepared for three of the capital projects including
the dispatch radio and wiring renovations in the police department, the high school bike
path extension and the purchase of emergency suppliesi
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Funds totalling $17,718.00 for renovation of the police dispatch electrical
wiring and radios are hereby appropriated in accordance with the budget attached and
incorporated herein by reference as Attachment A.
Section 2. Funds totalling $64,056 for construction of the high school bike path
extension are hereby appropriated in accordance with the budget attached and
incorporated herein by reference as Attachment B.
Section 3. Funds totalling $26,500 for the purchase of emergency shelter supplies
are appropriated in accordance with the budget attached and incorporated herein by
reference as Attachment C.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
14th day of February, 1994.
