CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-021
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF A VEHICLE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the city properly advertised a request for bids to furnish a vehicle for
the Police Department in accordance with standard city bid procedures; and
WHEREAS, one bid was received in response to the request for bids from
Peninsula Ford, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the bid was found to be responsive to the specifications contained in
the request for bids; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the FY 1994 Motor Pool Fund for purchase of
this vehicle;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order to
Peninsula Ford, Inc. for purchase of a 1994 4-door sedan for the Police Department for
a price not to exceed $17,%9.00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
14th day of February, 1994.
