CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-027
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, INCREASING THE CAMPING
FEES FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the FY 1994 city budget was adopted in anticipation of a $2.00 per
night increase in camper fees for recreational vehicles; and
WHEREAS, this will be the first increase in camper fees since June 1990; and
WHEREAS, increased camper revenues will allow the city to continue to provide
a safe, clean and litter-free environment to visitors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A fee of $8.00 per night per unit shall be charged for each recreational
camping vehicle, including those with self-contained water-sewer systems, occupying the
city's public campgrounds.
Section 2. A fee of $6.00 per night per unit shall be charged for each tent camper
occupying the city's public campgrounds.
Section 3. All prior resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
28th day of February, 1994.
