CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-078
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE FOURTH AVENUE EXTENSION TO BE PAID FOR
BY THE LOCAL SERVICE ROADS AND TRAILS FUND
WHEREAS, the city of Seward desires to construct a project
known as the Fourth Avenue Extension at a cost of Fourth Thousand
Six Hundred and Ten Dollars ($4,610.00); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.S., Chapter 84, Section 19.30.111 _
19.30.241, the state of Alaska has a fund for construction of local
service roads and trails;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to make application
to the state of Alaska for funds from the Local Service Roads and
Trails Fund to be used in construction of the Project.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 10th day of July, 1989.
