CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-085
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING A STATE GRANT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the 1989 State Legislature appropriated one new
municipal grant to the city of Seward; and
WHEREAS, AS 37.05.315 requires the city to accept this grant
by ordinance or resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Grant No. 3/90-815 in the amount of One Hundred
Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000), for the purpose of purchasing
Hospital Equipment, is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The sum of One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
($140,000) is hereby appropriated to the Hospital Capital Equipment
Budget and the budget is amended accordingly.
section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 24th day of July, 1989.
