CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, ACCEPTING ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM THE KENAI
PENINSULA BOROUGH FOR UPDATE OF THE SEWARD
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, Resolution 89-053 authorized the city to accept the
amount of $25,000 from the Kenai Peninsula Borough for the update
of the Seward Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, upon reviewing the proposed cost to complete such an
update, the city requested an additional sum of $5,000; and
WHEREAS, the Kenai Peninsula Borough has authorized a total
sum of $5,000 through purchase order No. 103309 to be applied
toward the Seward Comprehensive Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into
Amendment No. 1 to the Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement,
attached herewith and made a part of this resolution by reference,
accepting Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) additional funding from
the Kenai Peninsula Borough for an update of the Seward Comprehen-
sive Plan.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon

AMENDMENT NO. 1
TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITIES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH AND CITY OF SEWARD
THIS AGREEMENT modifies that Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement
("TORA") between the Kenai Peninsula Borough ("BOROUGH") and the
City of Seward ("CITY") dated June 16, 1989, wherein the CITY
assumes responsibility for the Seward Comprehensive Plan Update
using Kenai Peninsula Borough funding.
Item 3 of that TORA is hereby modified to read as follows:
3 . The Borough agrees to pay the City, or persons it
contracts with, up to $30.000 for the Plan. These payments will
be advanced to the City and will be supported by submission of
contractor's invoices which have been approved by the city, or upon
submissions of billings from the City for its work or expenses.
In all other respects the TORA is to remain unchanged and in full
force between the undersigned.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
document and it is effective this ____ day of , 1989.
