CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-112
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE SEWARD
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
WHEREAS, the City has received a total of $30,000 from the
Kenai Peninsula Borough for the update of the Seward Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City appropriated a total of $60,000 to special
revenue account l16-1l5-516-l0-xx on behalf of the Seward Enhance-
ment Association for the contract with Hyett-Palma, Inc., and other
miscellaneous expenses; and
WHEREAS, that contract has been completed with an unexpended
fund balance of $1,921.54; and
WHEREAS, much of the background work accomplished on behalf
of the Seward Enhancement Association will be utilized in the
comprehensive plan update; and
WHEREAS, there is need of additional funding within the Seward
Comprehensive Plan project for graphics and printing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Four
Dollars and Fifty Four Cents ($1,924.54) is hereby appropriated
from the Seward Enhancement Association special revenue account
116-115-5l6-10-xx (old system) to the Seward Comprehensive Plan
special revenue account 142-1150 (new system).
section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 25th day of September, 1989.
