CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM EXXON
AND AMENDING THE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY
WHEREAS, Exxon has chosen to donate $2,100 to the Seward Teen
Center; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Teen Center is in need of new game table
equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Teen Center serves nearly 300 teens per
week and is a community focal point of youth activity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Parks and Recreation Department FY 1990 budget
is hereby amended by increasing the "Grants and Donations" revenue
line item by $2,100 and by increasing expenditure line item No.
101-1430-5930-0000 by $2,100, and the budgets are amended accord-
ingly.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 9th day of October, 1989.
