CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO OBTAIN MASTERCARD SERVICES FROM FIRST NATIONAL
BANK OF ANCHORAGE FOR CERTAIN CITY EMPLOYEES
AND ELECTED OFFICIALS
WHEREAS, the city of Seward currently has an agreement for
charge card services with First National Bank of Anchorage~ and
WHEREAS, the original authorizing resolution designates Max
Royle as the individual with authority to execute agreements and
set spending limits for individual cards~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city Manager is hereby authorized to execute
any and all agreements with the First National Bank of Anchorage
to provide MasterCard services to certain city of Seward employees
and elected officials as designated by the City Manager.
Section 2. Such credit cards, when issued, shall expire
annually on October 1.
Section 3. Individual credit cards shall have a credit limit
not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000), provided that the
City Manager may designate a lesser limit on any or all of the
cards issued.
Section 4. Debts incurred by authorized card holders under
this agreement shall be an obligation of the city of Seward.
section 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 9th day of October, 1989.
