RESOLUTION NO. 89-126
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPOINTING PATRICIA J. JONES
ACTING CITY CLERK AND SETTING HER SALARY
WHEREAS, city Clerk Linda S. Murphy has been granted a six-
month leave of absence beginning October 30, 1989~ and
WHEREAS, Patricia J. Jones has served as Deputy city Clerk
since July 1, 1989~ and
WHEREAS, during Murphy's absence, Jones will be required to
assume full responsibility for the operation of the Clerk's Office~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Patricia J. Jones is hereby appointed Acting City
Clerk for a six-month period beginning October 30, 1989.
Section 2. During her service as Acting city Clerk, Patricia
J. Jones shall be compensated at the rate of $36,000.00 annually.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 23rd day of October, 1989.
