CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-128
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CONTRACT TO
PROVIDE SNOW PLOWING AND SANDING SERVICES
WHEREAS, a request for bids to provide snow plowing and
sanding services was advertised in accordance with the Seward city
Code~ and
WHEREAS, only one bid was received from METCO, Inc., and the
prices quoted in that bid were fair and reasonable~ and
WHEREAS, the bid from METCO, Inc., was found to be responsive
and responsible;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. The City
contract to METCO, Inc.,
services for an amount
($10,000.00) .
Manager is hereby authorized to award a
for on call snow plowing and sanding
not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 23rd day of October, 1989.
