CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 89-131
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT FOR THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH AND WASTE MATERIAL IN THE CITY OF
SEWARD FROM HERMAN LEIRER, DBA SEWARD SERVICE, TO
JASON MCDONALD, DBA JASON ENTERPRISES
WHEREAS, Herman Leirer, dba Seward Service, has a contract
with the city of Seward for the collection and disposal of garbage,
refuse and waste materials~ and
WHEREAS, Herman Leirer has sold his refuse collection business
to Jason R. McDonald, dba Jason Enterprises~ and
WHEREAS, Herman Leirer

has requested the assignment of the

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to grant the assignment of
the refuse collection agreement to Jason R. McDonald, dba Jason
Enterprises~
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the assignment
of the contractual agreement for the collection and disposal of
garbage, rubbish and waste material in the City of Seward from
Herman E. Leirer, dba Seward service, to Jason R. McDonald, dba
Jason Enterprises.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 23rd day of October, 1989.
