CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-030
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
ELECTRIC AND WATER METER READING
WHEREAS, Seward Construction Services has requested release
from the current electric meter reading contract; and
WHEREAS, requests for proposals for contracted meter reading
were advertised and four proposals were received; and
WHEREAS, Leslie R. Dooley, dba Liberty Way was the lowest
responsive bidder; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that the proposal of
Liberty Way is reasonable and that acceptance of that proposal 1S
in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The proposal submitted by Leslie R. Dooley, dba
Liberty Way, for electric and water meter reading services within
the Seward Electrical Service area is hereby accepted and the
contract for such service is hereby awarded to Liberty Way.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
the contract for such services, a copy of which is attached and
incorporated herein by reference, on behalf of the city of Seward.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 9th day of April, 1990.
