CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-050
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
REPAIR OF THE EMERGENCY GENERATING EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the emergency generator and associated automatic
switching equipment housed in the fire hall provide emergency power
to the fire hall and to city hall; and
WHEREAS, the automatic start and switch on the equipment is
currently non operational; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that this equipment 1S
repaired and fully functional to provide emergency power; and
WHEREAS, a budget adjustment in the amount of $3,500 is needed
for the purpose of repairing the emergency generator for the fire
hall and city hall;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Three Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars
($3,500) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Sales Tax
Revenue Account to the Municipal Building Maintenance and Repair
Account for the purpose of repairs to the emergency generator.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 29th day of May, 1990.
