CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 96-138
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A USE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY AND THE ALASKA VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL CENTER
WHEREAS, the City Parks and Recreation Department has been negotiating with the Alaska
Vocational Technical Center since January 1996 to provide increased public use at the AVTEC
Student Services Center; and
WHEREAS, the FY 1997 budget approved by the City Council reflects the increased hours,
rental rates and projected uses set forth in the proposed new Use Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Use Agreement between the City of Seward and the Alaska Vocational
Technical Center for the period July I, 1996, through June 30, 1997, is hereby APPROVED.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 14th day
of October, 1996.
