HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1996-148 , , , Sponsored by: Garzini CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 96-148 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO THE PURCHASE ORDER WITH SEWARD BUILDING SUPPLY FOR PORTABLE TOILET RENTALS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS WHEREAS, the FY 1997 Parks and Recreation Department Maintenance Budget contains $21,500 for portable toilet and other rentals; and WHEREAS, on June 24, 1996, the City Council approved a purchase order with Seward Building Supply, dba Resurrection Rentals, in the amount of$19,000 to provide portable toilets in the City's campgrounds; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that an additional $5,000 will be needed to provide this service in the campgrounds through the end of this fiscal year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: Section 1. The purchase order with Seward Building Supply, dba Resurrection Rentals, is hereby increased in the amount of $5,000, for a total purchase order amount not to exceed $24,000, to provide portable toilets to the City of Seward. Section 2, The sum of $5,000 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Fund Balance Account No, 101-0000-3050 to the Parks and Recreation Operating Budget Account No. 101-1410- 5500.
