CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-156
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
15-PASSENGER VAN FOR THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department budgeted $20,000
for the purchase of a van in Fiscal Year 1991; and
WHEREAS, the city requested proposals for a 15-passenger van
in accordance with standard city bid procedures; and
WHEREAS, three bids were received by the city; and
WHEREAS, the low bid submitted by peninsula Ford is within the
budget established for this purchase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to issue a purchase
order in the amount of $19,073.25 to Peninsula Ford for the
purchase of a 15-passenger van for the Parks and Recreation
Department.
Section 2 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 10th day of December, 1990.
